Maintenance Technician/Carpenter

Maintenance Technician-Carpenter Shift available: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, some weekend work required National Management Resources has provided facilities management services for over 40 years. We work in educational settings, including K-12 facilities, boarding schools, colleges, and universities all over the country. We offer competitive wages. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician-Carpenter to perform general carpentry, maintenance and repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment. Maintenance Technician-Carpenter Benefits: • Year-round work • Work independently throughout the day • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Health, dental & vision insurance • 401K • Short-term disability • Weekend work available Maintenance Technician-Carpenter Responsibilities: • Repair and maintain buildings. • Complete set-ups and tear down for scheduled campus activities. • Perform general maintenance using basic carpentry skills. • Operate and maintain tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities. • Perform on call duties as needed/assigned. • Ensure environment is safe and working properly. • Perform other duties as assigned. Maintenance Technician-Carpenter Qualifications: • Have a valid driver's license • Lift up to 50 pounds • Work from ladders • Climb stairs • Stand or walk for long periods of time. • Stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. • Work in an outdoor environment, with exposure to inclement weather and varying temperatures. Minimum Work Experience: · 3 years’ experience in general maintenance · 3 years’ experience in one or more building trades Passing a Drug Screening and Background Check is required for employment.
