Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various framing techniques and construction practices. This role involves working on diverse projects, including mainly commercial and agricultural buildings, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. The Framer will collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure that structures are built to specifications and adhere to safety standards. Duties • Construct and install frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs using wood or metal studs. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. • Perform metal building erection and concrete forming as required by project needs. • Occasionally install rebar for concrete reinforcement and finish concrete surfaces with precision. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. • Execute steel siding, roofing, and trim. • Erect heavy gauge steel building packages • Install commercial insulation systems when needed • Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary for site preparation or material handling. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills • Proficient in framing techniques with experience in wood/metal stud framing and steel erection. • Strong knowledge of construction management practices and site experience. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands. • Familiarity with woodworking principles and practices. • Experience in commercial/ag new construction projects is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for quality assurance. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
