Construction Programs Advisor Provide Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) to support the 9AF (AFCENT) A4 installation Shaw AFB with Temporary Duty Assignments in worldwide location where AFCENT does business. Duties And Responsibilities • Assists AFCENT with managing construction projects to include development of SOWs, programming documents, DD1391s, cost estimates, construction schedules, and execution phase status as work product deliverables. • Coordinates with deployed personnel on mission support capabilities and deficiencies at expeditionary and forward operating sites; maintain continuous contact and integrate data from War Reserve Material (WRM) program managers, engineering functional/program managers, personnel and manpower functions, and planning and engagement functions, and any other organization required to support planning. • Assist in the identification, coordination, and development of AFCENT engineering-related capabilities involving AFCENT forces. • Coordinate and maintain liaison relationships (as required) with military and national level agencies. • Provides technical expertise to the Government at meetings by facilitating meetings and developing technical presentations, etc. as required. • Maintains databases for specific project tracking. • Assist in documenting program files, organizing files, organizing format for active file use and staging. Ensures all products and briefings produced in support of this contract are in strict compliance with security classification, restrictive caveats, and dissemination directives as prescribed by Air Force (AF) USCENTCOM and 9 AF (AFCENT) directives. • Manages Facility Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) associated with USCENTCOM AOR. Qualifications • Engineering, Architecture, or similar Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years’ experience in programming/ project management • Eight (8) years with Air Force Civil Engineering, or other component Facility/ Infrastructure engineering management • Two (2) years’ experience leading people highly desired. • Strong writing skills and being capable of effectively operating as a member of an engineering or joint discipline team. Strong briefing skills and being capable of effective communication. • Must have experience and working knowledge of the following programs and systems within the last three (3) years: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access), and SIPR Access. • Must have a Secret Security Clearance DAWSON is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/VEVRAA federal contractor.
