Carpenter Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpenter's Helper to assist carpenters on construction projects. The ideal candidate will support skilled carpenters by handling basic tasks, maintaining tools and materials, and ensuring work areas are clean and organized. Key Responsibilities: • Assist carpenters in building, installing, and repairing structures such as walls, floors, doors, windows, and cabinets • Carry and transport tools, lumber, and construction materials to and from work areas • Measure and cut materials under supervision • Set up and clean up job sites before and after work • Hold materials in place or assist with fastening during installation • Load and unload materials from trucks • Operate basic hand and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, nail guns) • Perform general labor duties as assigned Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous construction or labor experience is a plus but not required • Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks • Willingness to learn on the job • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions • Valid driver's license may be required depending on the job site Work Environment: • Outdoor and indoor job sites • Exposure to varying weather conditions • Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods Job Type: Full-time Pay: $ $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Health insurance • On-the-job training • Paid time off • Tools provided Work Location: In person

Lead Carpenter/Foreman

SIGN ON BONUS We are seeking HIGHLY SKILLED and experienced Carpenters and Foreman looking for full-time steady work. MUST be a master Craftsman. Seeking a skilled Framer with the ability to accurately lay out and cut rafters and stairs. Must also demonstrate expertise in Trim work, including detailed moldings, compound miters, cabinetry, and fine Craftsman-level skills. The ideal candidates are well-organized and take great pride in their work. They possess a strong work ethic and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. They have his/her own transportation and tools and are willing to work within the Eastern Shore, MD area. They are skilled carpenters and possess a solid working knowledge of carpentry principles and materials. We are looking for creative candidates, who can read and interpret building plans and are capable of working independently. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Review work orders, prints, and/or sketches for the project Estimate material requirements and tools or equipment needed to perform the job. Install building materials as required Set up, demo, and install kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, wall finishes, interior and exterior trim, siding, windows, doors, and home repairs Perform construction labor work on residential and commercial structures, both interior and exterior Rough framing and finish trim work Unload materials and store them efficiently Be exceptionally organized and professional Maintain a clean, safe job site. Perform other related duties as required. Job Requirements Include: High School Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate. Completion of formal trade school or apprenticeship programs is a plus! Must own reliable transportation Must complete acceptable background check Must own their own tools Ability to read blueprints and follow directions Ability to create and verify material take-offs is a plus!
