Carpenter/Foreman

Carpenter Because of the quality of our work, how we carry ourselves and how we service our clients, we have become one of the most well-respected contracting firms in Talbot County. Based in Easton, we specialize in high-end residential renovation and remodeling work for discerning clientele. In order to meet demand and expand our operations, we are seeking highly-skilled, professional Carpenters as well as Carpenters’ Helpers. While we appreciate individuals who are well-versed in one area, we place more value on well-roundedness, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic. We are not geared toward production work, but candidates must have experience in and familiarity with the residential construction process and must be equally at home with framing, finish carpentry and, as we have a woodworking shop, cabinet making. Ideal candidates are intelligent, driven, skilled, personable and presentable. We find prospective clients often choose us over some of our competitors not just because of our work-product and references, but also because of how we present ourselves. And the best team members, we have found, are the ones that get along well with the rest of the crew. Indeed, while we are serious about our work, we all enjoy working with one another. Candidates must have the ability to travel to job sites throughout Talbot County. As such, a clean driving record and reliable transportation are required. Though we do not expect employees to have every conceivable tool in their arsenal, a reasonable collection is expected. Saws, drills, routers, sanders, nail guns, etc., as well as sundry hand tools would be required. We endeavor to set ourselves apart from the rest of our industry. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not alienate our clients and continue to receive interesting project offers because everybody who hires us likes and refers us. We have projects lined up well into 2027, always work full weeks and do not foresee things slowing down for us. Our projects are interesting, our customers are typically terrific, the crew is comprised of skilled, personable craftsmen and there is room for upward mobility within our firm. Scope: • Thorough knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry. • Ability to build, install, and repair structural woodwork, flooring, ceiling, and cabinetry. • Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, plans, drawing and specification. • Ability to read and write and perform arithmetic calculations required for the position. • Must have good attitude and communication skills, presentable appearance, work well with clients, and maintain safety and cleanliness on the job site
