Overview We are seeking a certified Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry tasks specifically frame carpentry, drywall and metal studding. flooring installation, and tile laying. This role involves working on construction sites and may include responsibilities related to water damage restoration and mold remediation. The Carpenter will be expected to perform moderate to heavy lifting occasionally and ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. License and bond preferred but not a deal breaker. Responsibilities • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of sheetrock wallboard and metal studding. • Perform frame carpentry, including building walls, roofs, and door frames. • Conduct water damage restoration tasks as needed. • Execute mold remediation processes in compliance with safety regulations. • Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Requirements • Proven experience as a residential or commercial carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Must have own tools and Proper Protective Equipment. • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work. • Familiarity with water damage restoration and mold remediation practices is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
