Summary The Carpenter will perform under the supervision of a foreman/lead duties including constructing, erecting, stripping, and/or repairing structures of steel, wood, plywood using carpenter's hand and power tools conforming to construction documents. Will be exposed to all the following duties but may specialize in one or more areas. Carpenter (OCONUS)

Amentum is seeking a Carpenter for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award. The Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled carpentry work, including the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures. Essential Responsibilities • Execute carpentry tasks such as repairs, installation of floor and ceiling tiles, walls, masonry work, locksmithing, and cabinet making. • Operate small power tools and machinery as required. • Read blueprints and perform material take-offs from prints. • Provide leadership and communicate effectively with customers and subordinates. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required • High school graduate or GED equivalent. • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program for a journeyman carpenter with eight (8) years of experience. • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs. • Two (2) years of supervisory experience. • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. • Required clearances are site-driven. Must possess a SECRET security clearance at the start of the contract and obtain the appropriate clearance within eight (8) months of contract award. Mental demands include problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication and leadership.
