Amentum is seeking a Carpenter for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award. The Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled carpentry work, including the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures. Essential Responsibilities • Execute carpentry tasks such as repairs, installation of floor and ceiling tiles, walls, masonry work, locksmithing, and cabinet making. • Operate small power tools and machinery as required. • Read blueprints and perform material take-offs from prints. • Provide leadership and communicate effectively with customers and subordinates. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required • High school graduate or GED equivalent. • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program for a journeyman carpenter with eight (8) years of experience. • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs. • Two (2) years of supervisory experience. • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. • Required clearances are site-driven. Must possess a SECRET security clearance at the start of the contract and obtain the appropriate clearance within eight (8) months of contract award.
