Welder Responsibilities: • Move material using a forklift and crane according to standard operating procedure • Verifies correct quantity and quality of parts welded • Select and install proper welding wire and gas mixture • Operate a fuel gas hand torch for heat straightening purposes • Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by Supervision • Set up and fine-tune the welding machine for proper wire speed and machine voltage • May be required to perform the following welding processes: GMAW, Flux, Sub Arc, etc. Welder Requirements: • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a welder required • High School diploma or equivalent preferred • Heavy Manufacturing in a Job Shop preferred • Know and understand welding symbols • Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings Welder Compensation & Benefits: • Hourly wage: $23.00/hour to $27.00/hour – depending on experience • $2 Shift Premium for 2nd Shift • PTO within in the first 6 months of employment • 401K and Profit Sharing At Goodwin Recruiting we are committed to our core values. Essential Duties: • Pipe fabrication, which includes material preparation, fitment, and welding via multiple processes. • Structural steel fabrication, which includes the fitment and welding of large frames and tanks. • Read, interpret, and follow fabrication drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of material, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate equipment and products. • Control set-up, laying out work using jigs and/or fixtures or open table layouts to fabricate assemblies. • Understand how to properly complete various material preparation tasks such as cutting, beveling and drilling. • Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions. • Carry out assembly of equipment and components per engineering drawings. • Operate various machinery and tools in shop such as forklifts, hand tools, power tools, cranes and others related to the job’s needs. • Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff. • Able to work in adverse weather conditions. • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. • Some travel will be required. What We're Looking For: • Required Skills & Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • 2+ years of fabrication experience as a welder • Certification in FCAW, GMAW, or GTAW processes • Experienced in structural steel fabrication or pipe fabrication • Can regularly lift 50 pounds or more • Preferred Skills & Qualifications: • Welding/Fabrication Technical Diploma or other similar formal training • Experience in pipe welding using GTAW or GMAW-P • Experience in the fabrication of skid systems • Qualified or ability to qualify to weld in accordance with ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3 and AWS D1.1. • Experience as a Millwright, or in the construction, rough carpentry, plumbing or other trades and non-metallic fabrication. • Rotary equipment experience • OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and Confined Space Training, and other relevant safety training certificates. Certified to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, jib cranes, manlifts, telehandlers and skid steers. • Knowledge of industry and OSHA safety practices • Proficient in computer use Compensation range: $27-$33/hour. Part-time Production Welder - 1st shift

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Part-time Production Welder - 1st shift to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI. The hourly rate for this position is $22.30 per hour This is a part-time role that will work at least 20 hours per week between 7 am - 3 pm. Tack weld part, adjusting wire feed for proper size weld seam. Grind excess weld and trim edges for fit of parts and appearance. Operate crane, electric stacker, and other mechanical assists to move, position, and unload heavy parts and assemblies. Operate oxyacetylene cutting/carbon arc torch and replace mig torch body, lever switch, and hoses from wire feed to torch body. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma/ GED Equivalent OR current enrollment in a High School Education program from an accredited institution Welding certification OR current enrollment in a Welding Program with an anticipated completion date in 2025 from an accredited institution Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
