We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Welder with experience in welding domes, salvage operations, and tank fabrication/repair. This is a U.A.W represented position at our facility in Muskegon. The hourly pay for this position starts at $28.47 an hour. Essential Functions: • Dome welding • Cylinder block liner weld (New and Reman) • Salvage weld and repairs • Weld ring gears • Conduct quality inspections and ensure welds meet standards • Interpret blue-print specifications and processes to determine appropriate welding processes. • Prepare metal for welding which may involve cutting, grinding and cleaning. • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, wearing appropriate safety gear, and ensuring a safe working environment. • All other duties as assigned
