Job Title: Mig Welder - 2nd Shift Job Description We are seeking an experienced Mig Welder to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will perform welding tasks on mild steel, ranging from 12 gauge to 1 inch, in various positions including flat, vertical down, and overhead. You will be responsible for setting up your welder and job, measuring, cutting, bending, and building frames with precision. In addition, you will utilize hand and power tools, tape measures, and other measuring instruments to grind and polish welds, ensuring the highest quality of work. Responsibilities • Perform welding tasks on mild steel in flat, vertical down, and overhead positions. • Set up welder and job independently. • Measure, cut, bend, and build frames accurately. • Utilize hand and power tools, tape measures, and other measuring tools effectively. • Grind and polish welds to achieve a smooth finish. Essential Skills • Minimum of 5 years of MIG welding experience on mild steel. • Proficiency in fabrication, fitting, and assembly. • Ability to read blueprints and use tape measures confidently. • Experience with flux core and structural steel welding. Additional Skills & Qualifications • 3 years of experience in reading blueprints and using tape measures. • Understanding of Miller welders and welding techniques. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is for the 2nd shift, with working hours from 4:30 pm to 3 am, following a 4-day work week schedule. Employees are currently working every other Friday. The workplace requires steel-toed shoes, eye, and hearing protection. About the Role: As part of BreatheSafe’s production team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes on our metal components. This role requires attention to detail, a focus on safety, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results that meet customer expectations. Welder - Fabrication

This position is primarily responsible for prepping and welding the structural items, including decks, frames, and brackets. Operators follow engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Review engineering prints of all parts to be welded. • Layout work on welding tables as required. • Check the parts for quality and usability. • Write a requisition slip when materials are required from stock. • Perform various welds as required using the established ANGI weld procedures for structural welding. • Mark the weldment for identification, and stage for the next operation. • Return unused materials to the rack. Scrap materials and unusable off falls are placed in the proper dumpster. Any material adjustments are made. • Maintain the welder and other related equipment in good working order. • Maintain a neat, clean, orderly and safe working environment at all times. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
