Welder / Fabricator

Job Summary: Will perform the daily set-up and preparation of components and/or weldments utilizing TIG and MIG in a variety of materials including stainless and aluminum. Track and electronically record duties. Utilize blueprints for set-up and inspection of parts to ensure customer specifications are met. Duties and Responsibilities: • Proven ability to TIG and MIG weld • Proven ability to read and utilize blueprints to complete tasks • Ability to use standard measuring devices • Inspect finished product • Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve to meet delivery dates within project hours • Utilize knowledge and skills in the following areas: • Electrical assembly • Hydraulic assembly • Pneumatic • General assembly procedures • General equipment maintenance • Operate forklift, hoist and cranes • Adhere to company policies and safety requirements • Basic computer skills • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School diploma, or equivalent, and successful completion of an internal welding test. Three to five years’ experience in various forms of welding preferred. Job Summary: Welds components by calculating requirements; studying metals; determining welding techniques; cleaning, preparing, cutting, burning and welding pieces. Duties and Responsibilities: • Make weld fixtures. • Work with minimal supervision. • Anticipate manufacturing problems and suggest solutions to those problems. • Do quality checks to meet specified standards prior to shipment to customer. • Show continuous improvement in skills and displays good attitude towards personal growth. • Show continued improvement in metal finishing. • Assist management as required. • Other duties as assigned.
