Key Responsibilities Blueprint & Technical Interpretation • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Apply knowledge of weld symbols and tolerances to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. Fabrication & Assembly • Assemble metal components and structures according to design and quality requirements. • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum of varying thicknesses. • Safely and effectively utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery. Quality & Precision • Measure and inspect dimensions accurately using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments. • Verify finished work meets or exceeds quality standards and industry codes. • Identify and correct weld defects through preventative and corrective actions. Workplace Organization & Safety • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in safe working condition. • Adhere to all company safety protocols, policies, and regulatory standards. Qualifications • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. • 3+ years’ experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment (preferred). • 3+ years’ experience performing MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. • Strong knowledge of blueprints, tolerances, and weld symbols. • Experience working in an ISO 9001 certified environment highly desirable. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Action-oriented, customer service-focused, and proactive in driving work through completion. • Engaging personality with the ability to foster strong relationships with coworkers and customers.
