What You Will Do: • Perform work in a safe manner. • Weld Aluminum Pressure Vessels, Airtight utilizing GMAW Pulse Spray and GTAW welding. • Ability to adjust parameter settings for different material thickness. • Ability to learn Robot welding set-up and operations. • Assemble finished products from blueprints to the specification indicated on the blueprints. • Produce product within tolerance. • Maintain tools and equipment provided for the assembly operations. • Maintain work area in an organized manner. • Comply with all of the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies and procedures of API. What You Bring: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Welding certification from an accredited Technical School preferred. • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to provide examples of both GTAW & GMAW proficiency. • Mechanical aptitude and a functional knowledge of hand tools. • Ability to interpret blueprints and measurements. Physical Requirements for Manufacturing Production Employees • Standing: Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift). • Walking: Frequent walking throughout the production floor. • Lifting and Carrying: • Regularly lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds. • Occasionally lift heavier items (up to 75 pounds) with assistance or equipment • Pushing and Pulling: Use of manual or mechanical means to push/pull carts, equipment, or materials. • Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive tasks (e.g., assembling, sorting, packaging). • Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small parts or tools. • Climbing: Occasional use of ladders or steps to reach equipment or storage areas. • Visual and Hearing Requirements: • Sufficient vision (with or without correction) to read labels, safety signs, and equipment gauges. • Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to respond to alarms and verbal instructions in a noisy environment. • Environmental Tolerance: • Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, or humid conditions). • Exposure to noise, dust, odors, and manufacturing chemicals. • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
