What You Will Do: • Assemble units according to blueprint prior to welding. • Set up and run automatic welding machines to blueprint tolerances. • Weld components manually using both TIG and MIG welding. • Position and secure work pieces using hoists. • Weld using a welding positioner/turntable. • Inspect product and equipment for defects and malfunctions. What You Bring: • Proficient in GMAW (gas metal arc welding) and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding). • Capable of adjusting machines to different material thickness. • Ability to self-manage with a diverse workload. • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. • Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Physical Requirements for Manufacturing Production Employees 1. Standing: Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift). 2. Walking: Frequent walking throughout the production floor. 3. Lifting and Carrying: o Regularly lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds. o Occasionally lift heavier items (up to 75 pounds) with assistance or equipment. 4. Pushing and Pulling: Use of manual or mechanical means to push/pull carts, equipment, or materials. 5. Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive tasks (e.g., assembling, sorting, packaging). 6. Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small parts or tools. 7. Climbing: Occasional use of ladders or steps to reach equipment or storage areas. 8. Visual and Hearing Requirements: o Sufficient vision (with or without correction) to read labels, safety signs, and equipment gauges. o Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to respond to alarms and verbal instructions in a noisy environment. 9. Environmental Tolerance: o Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, or humid conditions). o Exposure to noise, dust, odors, and manufacturing chemicals. o Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
