Job duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: • Follow documented procedures, standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect free operations. • Hand weld all plain and alloy structural steel in all positions. • Use of jib or gantry crane to manually position weld equipment. • Grind and dress fabricated weldments. • May operate forklift, scissor lift and area lift to access weldments. Required Qualifications: • 3-5 years of FCAW and experience with 10+ multi-pass welds on heavy 2" plate. • Experience with back gouging, carbon arcing or air arcing. • Must pass 3 weld qualification tests using FCAW large diameter wire (3/32 and .052).
