As a Welder, you are responsible for welding activities within the power plant. You have the ability to stand for long periods, withstand warm environment at times, can safely climb ladders and stairways, ascend/descend scaffolding, and enter tight/congested areas. You have experience working in the Nuclear Power industry and have or can obtain unescorted access to nuclear power plants. You enjoy the fast-paced work demands need to work various shifts throughout plant outages. /p p /p pJob Details/Essential Job Functions:/p p /p ul liPerform all position electric arc, inert gas, oxyacetylene structural, and pipe welding using SMAW / GTAW weld processes. ul liWPS 1.2TS Carbon Steel using GTAW ER70S-2 or SMAW E7018 (P1 to P1)/li liWPS 8.1TS Stainless Steel using GTAW ER309/309L or SMAW E309/E309L (P8-P8)/li liWPS 1-8.1TS Carbon Steel to Stainless Steel using GTAW ER309/ER316 or SMAW E309/E316 (P1-P8)/li liRead and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, weld block diagrams, flow-prints, etc./li liPerform highly complex layout work of piping runs.
