Essential Functions Instruct open-enrollment and/or high school level welding courses.Provide hands-on skills-based development, instruction, and oversight.Maintain daily attendance, grade, and performance records adhering to Sandhills policy and procedures, as well as guidelines set forth by accreditation agencies- NCCER/AWS.Administer, proctor, and provide reports on credential and non-credential examinations.Maintain a safe and clean welding shop space.Monitor welding supply inventory and notify administrative staff of purchasing needs.Meet with the Director of Advanced Manufacturing as needed to discuss class schedules, student issues, special material needs, and other class-related matters. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience in welding or a related field.Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff and studentsComputer software knowledge and experience.
