Job Description: Welder Position: Welder Department: Manufacturing Summary: As a Welder at LJS Solutions, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing processes, ensuring the quality and precision of welded components. Your primary responsibilities will include reading and interpreting project plans, performing various types of welding, and field installing metal parts. Responsibilities: Project Interpretation: • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams. • Accurately perform tasks according to the project specifications. Welding: • Perform MIG, TIG, and other types of welding based on project needs. • Execute high-quality welds in accordance with company standards. Field Installation: • Install welds, metal sheeting, and other parts on-site as needed. Skills and Qualifications: • Knowledge of best practices and safety procedures. • High school diploma/GED preferred. • Current and valid welding certification is a plus. • Experience with power tools. • 3+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. • Ability to set up workstations and utilize weld fixturing. • Verify fixtures according to master parts or blueprints. • Ability to weld components at or above the standard production rate. • Ability to work in hot or cold environments. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to work in awkward positions. • Must have reliable transportation. • Must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime and weekends. • Pass an onsite weld test.
