Perform MIG welding tasks according to established procedures and quality standards. Operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Inspect and troubleshoot welding equipment and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, punctuality, and quality standards. Continuously strive to improve welding skills and keep up with industry advancements and best practices. Communicate any issues or concerns related to welding tasks to the supervisor in a timely manner. Assist in training and mentoring new or less experienced welders. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including production reports and quality control documents. Participate in team meetings and provide suggestions for process improvements. Adhere to all Cummins' values and code of conduct. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Job Profile The company is seeking a Wire Welder who will be responsible for the set-up and overall operation of the Wire Welder and the quality of the work produced.
