Description: The Mechanical Superintendent provides leadership to all mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient execution. This role focuses on overseeing tasks such as process piping, complex rigging, demolition, and modifications in active plant environments. This role also oversees civil/structural activities. Also, the incumbent completes light machine work, insulation removal and replacement. Essential Functions: • Maintain and repair all plant equipment and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition. • Perform cleaning duties and routine shop/ground maintenance as assigned. • Maintain accurate records and reports of all pertinent information on plant equipment. • Contribute to overall plant safety by adhering to safety standards, participating in safety training, energy verification, and by adhering to all plant regulations and procedures. • Assist with developing preventive maintenance procedures and guidelines for repairing and maintaining plant equipment. • Perform and support planning and scheduling duties, for planned and unplanned outages or as assigned.
