Department: Manufacturing & Mechanical Eng Tech Position Summary: The Department of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology at Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) is seeking applications for a part-time adjunct faculty pool for the 2025-2026 academic year. These positions will be based at the Portland-Metro campus in Wilsonville and will be offered on a term-by-term basis. Renewals may be considered annually at the discretion of the department chair. Adjunct faculty will be responsible for developing and/or teaching undergraduate courses within the Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology department, which is part of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Management at Oregon Tech. Courses that may require instructors include: • Automation and Robotics • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) • Control Systems • Materials Science and Engineering • Mechanical Vibrations • Electric Power Systems • Machining Processes • Manufacturing Tool Design • Computer-Aided Design (CAD) / Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Additional Requirement: • Proven track record of teaching engineering courses. • Education must include (at least) a Master's degree in an engineering discipline by the start date of employment. • Successful candidates must hold permanent, full-time, US Work Authorization.
