Adjunct Instructor Pool, Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology (MMET)

Department: Manufacturing & Mechanical Eng Tech Position Summary: The Department of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology at Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) is seeking applications for a part-time adjunct faculty pool for the 2025-2026 academic year. These positions will be based at the Portland-Metro campus in Wilsonville and will be offered on a term-by-term basis. Renewals may be considered annually at the discretion of the department chair. Adjunct faculty will be responsible for developing and/or teaching undergraduate courses within the Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology department, which is part of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Management at Oregon Tech. Courses that may require instructors include: • Automation and Robotics • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) • Control Systems • Materials Science and Engineering • Mechanical Vibrations • Electric Power Systems • Machining Processes • Manufacturing Tool Design • Computer-Aided Design (CAD) / Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Additional Requirement: • Proven track record of teaching engineering courses. • Education must include (at least) a Master's degree in an engineering discipline by the start date of employment. • Successful candidates must hold permanent, full-time, US Work Authorization. Department: Manufacturing & Mechanical Eng Tech Position Summary: Oregon Tech is Accepting Applications for Undergraduate Adjunct Instructors for the Department of Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering and Technology. The Department of Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering and Technology (MMET) at Oregon Tech (Oregon Institute of Technology) is recruiting a pool of persons for possible part-time Adjunct teaching positions. Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as Adjunct Instructors for courses within the department. Candidates interested in Adjunct teaching positions should apply online and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three references with contact information. In your cover letter, please specify those areas or courses that you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years. After two years, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool.
