Stationary Engineer - Full-time

**Description** Performs a multitude of engineering tasks to include the operation, repair and maintenance of all hospital utilities and equipment to provide continuous and uninterrupted service to the environment of care. Wet End Machine Operator Role

Job Title: Corrugator Wet End Operator We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corrugator Wet End Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for running the single-facer and assisting in wet-end and dry-end operations. Responsibilities: • Operate the single-facers to produce high-quality products. • Check wet end line-ups to ensure correct roll stock is received and used. • Put rolls of paper in mill roll stands ensuring proper size and grade of paper to be run. • Remove roll stock from the machine when necessary and mark the proper size, grade, diameter, and lineal footage on the roll. • Continuously monitor the board during runs to ensure quality and make adjustments as necessary. • Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Requirements: • High school diploma or GED. • Prior work experience in the corrugated industry. • 6 months experience on the dry end of the corrugator. • Eligible to bid for this position under the present labor/management agreement or have current work-related experience. Equipment Mechanic II

Equipment Mechanic II The Fleet Services Division has two sections, Heavy Equipment and Motor Pool. Fleet Services provides competitive procurement, maintenance and disposal of road construction equipment to ensure safe operating equipment. The Heavy Equipment maintenance garage maintains 120 pieces of heavy equipment, plus approximately 100 pieces of support equipment, primarily serving the Road Maintenance Division. Initially under close supervision, incumbents learn and perform a variety of duties in the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of motorized equipment. This class is alternately staffed with Equipment Mechanic II and incumbents may advance to the higher level after gaining the required experience and demonstrating proficiency which meet the qualifications for the higher level class. Equipment Mechanic II is the skilled, journey level class in this series. Under general supervision, incumbents perform the full range of assigned duties. This class is distinguished from Senior Equipment Mechanic in that the latter assigns, directs and reviews the work of mechanics and others and performs the most difficult troubleshooting and repair work. • Performs skilled maintenance and repair of heavy and light equipment such as trucks, tractors, graders and dozers; diagnoses, repairs and overhauls gas and diesel engines. • Re-lines, rebushes and rebuilds cams, brake pots, valves and related parts of braking systems. • Performs major and minor repairs of suspension, walking beams and torque arms. • Repairs and replaces driveline components; overhauls rear ends, reduction power dividers, clutch assemblies, universal joints, drive shafts and related components. • Repairs and maintains manual, automatic and power shift transmissions, torque converters and related components. • Diagnoses, repairs and maintains brakes, hydraulic systems and associated power take-off equipment. • Rebuilds, repairs and adjusts hydraulic pumps, cylinders, control valves, motors and related components. • Diagnoses and repairs power and manual steering systems; electrical systems, starters, generators and related systems, components and parts. • Diagnoses and repairs, cleans, adjusts and installs fuel, ignition, and cooling systems. • Conducts safety checks and operational tests on light, heavy and related equipment. • Road tests equipment; drives trucks or equipment as required; inspects vehicles in the shop and field. • Reads and interprets manuals, drawings and specifications; estimates labor, material and equipment and orders parts required to complete assignments. • Makes oral and written reports of work performed; completes forms and keeps accurate maintenance records. • Welds and fabricates new and modified parts for truck bodies and similar equipment; installs and repairs power take-off equipment such as small electric cranes, hoists and small hydraulic lift equipment. • Uses and maintains a full set of hand, power and shop tools and equipment related to the work. • Observes safe work methods and utilizes safety equipment related to the work; safely handles and disposes of hazardous waste materials. The level and scope of the knowledge and skills listed below are related to job duties as defined under Distinguishing Characteristics. Knowledge of: • Methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline-powered light and heavy equipment. • Operation and maintenance of a wide variety of hand, power and shop tools and equipment common to the field. • Safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work. • Shop mathematics.
