Key Responsibilities: • Design HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) for commercial, light and heavy industrial facilities using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Carrier HAP/Trane TRACE). • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and piping layout, and system specifications in compliance with local codes (Florida Building Code, Alabama Building Code, Georgia Building code ASHRAE, etc.). • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to develop construction documents and coordinate design details. • Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to evaluate existing systems and verify design feasibility. • Participate in project management activities, including budget tracking, client communications, and construction administration support. • Ensure all designs meet applicable sustainability, energy efficiency, and safety standards. • Provide engineering support during bidding, permitting, and construction phases, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
