Maintenance Technician (Industrial Electrical/Mechanical l)(MNAe-Montgomery, AL)

The Electrical and Mechanical Technicians will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventative maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modifications, as well as perform basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Performs responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery. • Communicates with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas. • Responsible for keeping records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works. • Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment following all safety requirements. • Prepare and maintains maintenance related documents; daily reports, check sheets, preventative maintenance documents. • Research and request quotations from suppliers (equipment, tool, fixtures, purchased components, etc.) Other tasks as assigned • Other equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assigned. • All other duties assigned. Mechanical Superintendent - International

What You Will Do • Works closely with Project Superintendent, Project Manager, Quality Control Manager and Home Office Mechanical Procurement coordinator as required, in formulating, discussing and finalizing the overall plan of operations, job layout, job schedule, etc. • Manages the day-to-day work of crafts and subcontractors in field, delegates work through foreman and/or subcontractor representatives. Must work with subcontractors of different cultures and languages. • Maintains regular communications with project staff to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. • Reviews plans and specifications of job, job budget and estimate with project manager and project superintendent to ensure that quantities, values, manpower requirements and deliveries of various divisions of job are understood. • Participates in weekly progress meetings with subcontractors. • Assists in preparation of plan at beginning of job, for receiving, storing and handling materials as required. • Assists in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required. • Maintains best possible relationship with owner and architectural-engineering firm associated with job.
