Facilities and Maintenance Lead

Nonprofit organization seeks a Facilities and Maintenance Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of equipment and mechanical systems. Part time (up to 25 hours per week). Candidate must have extensive knowledge of commercial building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC; ability to prioritize tasks; ability to identify issues and determine when repairs are necessary, as well as make necessary repairs or contract out; ability to plan and maintain maintenance schedules for building systems; must possess organizational skills, perform general maintenance duties and special maintenance projects to include vehicle upkeep, plumbing, painting, light carpentry, commercial equipment maintenance, and heating and air conditioning systems maintenance in accordance with our agency’s guidelines, as well as oversee the work performed by external service vendors. Maintains maintenance and custodial supplies and orders when needed. All federal, state and local licensing and safety requirements must be adhered to in the performance of duties. Must be able to pass a national background check and drug screen. Benefits include paid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO). Mechanical Engineer

New Product Development Mechanical Engineer

This NPD Mechanical Engineer position is with Kysor-Warren Epta, part of the global Epta Group, located in Columbus, Georgia. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing refrigeration systems using natural refrigerants such as CO2 and propane. You’ll lead mechanical design efforts, drive technical innovation, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your contribution: • Lead the mechanical design and development of refrigeration systems using CO2 and propane, including system specifications, performance analysis, and prototyping. • Scout and evaluate emerging refrigeration technologies and applications. • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, field service, and sales teams to bring new refrigeration products to market. • Create and review mechanical schematics, P&IDs, and bills of material. • Select system components and ensure technical documentation supports compliance with UL, CSA, and other relevant standards. • Drive technical projects from concept to implementation, ensuring design for manufacturability, assembly, and cost-efficiency. • Partner with vendors to validate component performance and source technical specifications. • Support commissioning and troubleshooting during product launch or field deployment.
