The Systems Engineer will undertake systems engineering tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing enterprise-grade infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud. The role requires technical proficiency and the ability to guide and mentor a support team tasked with the initial assessment and upkeep of the systems established and overseen by the engineer. Responsibilities and Expectations: Business Skilled in fostering both internal and external relationships Acts as a liaison for initiatives and new technologies, ensuring effective communication with users and help desk support Advocates for IT-developed and supported solutions Capable of comprehending business processes and articulating the scope of requested solutions Manages project timelines and deliverables effectively Possesses strong documentation skills for recording created solutions Provides mentorship to Support/Administrators on developed solutions Preferably experienced with SOC 2 Type 2, PCI, HITRUST audits Cloud Proficient with Entra (Azure Active Directory) Knowledgeable in SSO and Azure AD to AD Sync Experienced with Intune/AutoPilot Experienced with Microsoft Defender 365 Capable of managing AWS EC2 Instances and S3 storage Datacenter/On-premises Adept with Enterprise Server Hardware Well-versed in Active Directory/Group Policy Experienced with Windows Server 2016 – 2022 Knowledgeable in Microsoft DNS Proficient in Powershell scripting Networking Understands the OSI model Experience with data center switches is preferred Familiarity with data center-to-cloud interconnectivity is advantageous Education and Experience: 1-3 years as a Systems Engineer role demonstrating experience in some of the above listed responsibilities and expectations. Any Certifications related to Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Linux administration, security, or network administration.
