Engineering Mechanic

Job Title: Engineering Technician Main Job Responsibilities This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of compressor station and process plant equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to maintain efficiency, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Routine engine and compressor performance analysis using advanced tools like Ariel Performance for optimization and performance improvement. • Regular portable emissions testing to guarantee environmental compliance. • Identify, report, and assist in resolving environmental concerns. • Vibration testing and data analysis to support ongoing vibration mitigation programs. • Green House Gas surveys and leak detection and reporting. • Engine and compressor testing to establish or correct performance and control system coefficients. • Implement corrective actions to resolve operational problems and collaborate with location personnel to resolve equipment issues. • Monitor the reliability of mechanical systems and equipment. • Assist in equipment failure analysis and develop standard practices and procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications: • An Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn additional equipment-specific data acquisition applications. • Solid basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals). • A strong mechanical aptitude. • Working knowledge and experience with electronic equipment, high-pressure gas, processing equipment, reciprocating two and four-cycle integral/separable or gas turbine engines, electric motors along with reciprocating and centrifugal compressors. • Knowledge of reciprocating engine and compressor performance and maintenance analysis. • Knowledge of vibration testing and other predictive technologies. • Knowledge of portable emissions testing. • Past experience with data collection and interpretation and route-based hardware equipment and software systems. Certifications, Licenses & Registrations: • A valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to our company and its insurers. Maintenance Engineer

Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for injection molding machines, LED assembly lines, servo-driven presses, nut runners, and machine vision-based inspection systems to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations ; Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to reduce unscheduled downtime, enhance equipment performance, and extend machinery life expectancy ; Analyze equipment failuresincluding issues in robotics, servo systems, and automated vision systemsusing structured troubleshooting methods and implement corrective actions to ensure stable operation ; Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new production equipment and automation systems in coordination with engineering and production teams ; Perform equipment calibration, software updates, and functional testing for PLC-controlled systems, robot controllers, and sensor-driven components ; Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for recurring equipment malfunctions, and initiate countermeasures ; Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives by establishing proactive maintenance practices and reducing equipment-related process variability ; Ensure maintenance processes comply with International Automotive Task Force 16949 (IATF 16949) standards, Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA ) safety requirements, and relevant environmental regulations ; Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships to ensure the timely procurement of critical components, tools, and consumables ; Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) to manage work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment performance metrics ; Develop and maintain standardized maintenance documentation, including work instructions, control plans, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance checklists ; Assist in automation line layout improvement, cycle time optimization, and implementation of productivity enhancement measures ; Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support new line launches, layout changes, and automation upgrades ; Respond to urgent technical issues on the production floor, perform emergency repairs, and minimize impact on production schedules ; Coordinate with customer-facing teams to resolve equipment-related quality issues and provide technical input during client audits or assessments ; Support energy efficiency and cost-saving projects through analysis of equipment performance and identification of optimization opportunities ; []{s=""}
