Job Title: Electromechanical Maintenance Technician Job Description Participate in activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery related to manufacturing vehicle carpet, insulation, and foam. Inspect and repair machinery and equipment based on operating parameters, according to engineering principles and safety regulations. Responsibilities • Analyze mechanical and operational problems and take corrective action. • Test newly installed equipment and perform preventative maintenance. • Notify supervisor of recurring issues and corrective actions taken. • Communicate with other departments and shifts to support production. • Ensure adherence to safety regulations. • Collaborate with operators as needed to support production. • Read and comprehend work instructions. • Willingness to work overtime as necessary. Essential Skills • Preventative and reactive industrial maintenance • Mechanical and 480v electrical industrial maintenance • Troubleshooting and fixing breakdowns • Part repair and replacement • Reading blueprints and schematics • Using electrical meters • Knowledge of 24V control wiring, 3 phase 480V wiring and troubleshooting, AC and DC motors. • Understanding of 480V distribution systems, including busway, disconnects, and power transformers. • Knowledge of pneumatic systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyor belts, transmission chains, sprockets, pulleys, press brakes, stamping presses, and lamination. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic prints and troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including valves, cylinders, and pressure switches. • Press machine maintenance • Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and reading ladder logic • Fanuc and/or ABB robotics troubleshooting and maintenance • Rehoming and recalibrating robotic arms • Primary skillset should include mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical competencies. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is desirable. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, Tennessee. Starting Pay: $25-$30/hr, depending on experience, with opportunity for raises and advancement Shifts: 2nd- roughly 3:00pm to 12:30am 3rd- roughly 11:00pm to 7:30am Schedule: Monday-Friday with OT on Saturdays and Sundays as needed, which is pretty common Weekly hours: they are currently shorthanded and backed up, so they are working 7 days a week for the next month or so. But when they get fully staffed and caught up, it'll go down to more like 55-60 regularly and 65-70 on some occasions. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
