About This Role We are seeking a Maintenance Leader to direct the shift mechanical and electrical team in a goal-oriented environment. Key responsibilities include: • Leading and directing the shift mechanical and electrical team to deliver results. • Managing compliance with company policies, procedures, and other requirements. • Monitoring radio for opportunities to get involved in safety interventions. • Approving pay and vacation scheduling for the team, and completing administrative tasks consistent with labor agreements and mill policy. • Conducting 1:1s with employees to provide guidance and feedback. • Identifying individual and organizational training needs and implementing training plans. • Coodinating with operations to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities. Requirements include: • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or comparable work experience. • 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing, preferably in mechanical or electrical maintenance and/or paper industry operations. • Previous supervisory experience is beneficial. • Completion of leadership development modules is preferred.
