POSITION CUTTING MACHINE OPERATOR JOB SUMMARY The Cutting Machine Operator is an integral part of the manufacturing production line. The Cutting Machine Operator will be trained with the technical knowledge and have the ability to communicate the technical information required to perform as an operator in the Cutting department. This position is for 2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm and comes with an added pay differential of $1.50/hr bringing the range to $17.50-$20.50/hr RESPONSIBILITIES • Support, report to, and be directed by the Cutting Manager. • Operate production machines and equipment within efficiency standards. • Handle and organize raw materials for cutting processes according to department systems. • Organize, mark, and kit cut components to prepare products for sewing. • Perform basic assembly tasks. • Maintain in-line quality control of raw materials and takes appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision with the highest degree of proficiency. • Able to identify components and workings of cutting machines. • Able to read and interpret technical packets, written processes, standard operating procedures, and follow instructions. • Able to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on machines and identify the need for external services when needed. • Utilize various cutting machines, fixtures, and tooling to perform cutting functions to a high degree of proficiency. • Maintain clean and organized workspace according to company standards. • Perform all other duties reasonably related to the Company’s business when asked to do so by the Company’s executive team.
