Position Overview: Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced steel fabrication equipment, including roll-forming, press-breaks, lasers, welding, and more. As part of our Tooling Team, you'll be involved in the planning, design, and implementation of tooling, machines, devices, and products for our sister companies within the building sciences. Primary Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain CNC machinery, grinders, lathes, and milling machines. • Take precise measurements and make calculations for manufacturing. • Develop effective manufacturing plans based on specifications. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the manufacturing process. • Maintain and repair punch and die tooling. • Coordinate with internal departments including engineering, production, and quality assurance. • Maintain detailed records of project progression and equipment maintenance. Skills and Qualifications: • Familiarity with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) software and machinery. • Experience operating grinders, lathes, and milling machines. • Strong math skills for precise measurements and calculations. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Experience in maintaining and repairing punch and die tooling is a plus. Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator (Tinting) Location: Durham, NC Reports to: Production Supervisor 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime hours required during the week and/or on Saturdays. SUMMARY: Tends mixing machines and related piping systems, loads, and moves dry materials, tints, fillers, etc. manually into hoppers/batch tanks, loads, unloads and moves liquid solvents using calibrated flow regulators, hoses or other transfer mechanisms. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Detects and reports unsafe conditions, equipment, or situations • Reports all unusual occurrences and incidents to Supervisor • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (half or full-face respirator). • Obtains, reads and follows in batch package. • Makes adjustments to batches per written instructions from QC. • Follows oral instructions from Group Leader or Production Manager • Moves pallets, and tanks with forklift. • Dumps drums with drum grabber. • Transfers MMA and Benzoflex 2088 using pumping systems. • Operates Mixers per parameters on Operating Instructions in Batch Packages. • Weighs materials and adds them to batches per batch package. • Properly bonds and grounds all material transfers. • Fills out process instruction sheet documenting: lot numbers, quantities, times and temperatures as required by process instructions. • Cleans batch tanks, mixing blades, equipment and secondary containment vessels or sumps as required wearing PPE until atmosphere/breathing zone is free of dusts, vapors, mists gases or other contaminants. • Operates hydraulic presses to fill batches. • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management GENERAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: • Observe all company work rules, policies and procedures to ensure optimum safety and successful attainment of task objectives. • Maintain work areas, walking areas, tank storage area(s) clean and free of trash, waste paper, dust and debris. • Complete all assignments with accuracy, neatness and thoroughness. • Maintain harmonious working relationships with team members, co-workers and other departments. • Be flexible to changes in assignment and workload and contribute to the growth of the organization. • Actively strive to enhance knowledge, skills and abilities related to present position or assignment. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • High School or trade school graduate or apprenticeship experience required. • Prior assembly, manufacturing or chemical industry background desirable. • Basic computational and volumetric skills necessary. • Must be able to calculate/estimate weight or volume of mixture.
