This role is critical in supporting daily production by programming CNC lasers, press brakes, and other machinery. You’ll work closely with engineering and production to create efficient, accurate programs that support high-quality, American-made metal products. Key Responsibilities: • Develop CNC programs for all new product designs • Update programs to reflect engineering changes and revisions • Interpret sheet metal layouts and create flat patterns for simple and complex parts • Program and optimize CNC lasers and press brakes (Trumpf, Amada) • Improve material utilization and implement scrap reduction strategies • Assist in managing and improving the handling of filler parts • Support production by troubleshooting manufacturing and programming issues • Create and modify CAD drawings as needed • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and shop drawings • Respond quickly to design changes and production needs • Continuously seek ways to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow Skills & Qualifications: • Experience with CNC programming for lasers and press brakes • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks/ Mastercam similar required) • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and flat patterns • Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and machinery • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work in a fast-paced production environment • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, solution-driven mindset • Eagerness to learn and stay current with new technologies and tooling options Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00 AM to 3:30PM Pay: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience Company DescriptionLocally owned and operated since 1984, we’re a full-service metal fabrication shop proud to stand behind “Manufactured in America.” When you join our team, you’re joining a family that values hard work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and truly cares about its people.

CNC Robot Operator - Fayetteville, NC

About the position Responsibilities • Performs daily inspection and pre-startup PM on the CNC milling Robot. • Reads drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. • Loads and unloads the machine in an efficient and productive manner. • Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. • Keeps all tools, dies, and machine controls in good working condition. • Ensures paperwork is filled out completely and accurately. • Cleans up the working area and entire surroundings after operations. • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements • Post-Secondary or High school diploma or GED with relevant experience. • Experience working with Robotics and/or Automation. • Knowledge of electrical and/or programming preferred. • Working knowledge of CAD. • At least 1 year of experience and/or training in a related field. • Ability to interpret drawings and schematics. • Ability to work overtime and weekends as requested. • Strong mathematical knowledge. • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
