Machine Operator

We are seeking two Machine Operators for 1st Shift (6 am-3:30 pm Mon-Fri) to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position works out of our facility in Florence, SC. Come and grow with us! Our machine operators expertly use advanced machines and tools to sharpen and grind steel to perfection, transforming raw steel into the razor-sharp edges that power our industry. Pay range for this position is $16.00-$19.00 USD per hour. How you will make a positive impact: • Set up machines and change tooling or saw blades to grind/cut steel • Use specialized saws or hand tool • Use calipers and micrometers, must understand fractions and decimals • Read industrial knife blueprints • Complete Statistical Process Control Charts (SPCs) for all assignments • Forklift Certified (or able to become certified) • Load and unload steel from machines • Add coolant and empty swarf • General cleaning of machines and area • Work with a high sense of urgency • Wear all required PPE • May be required to provide support and training to others • Active participation in Lean and Safety Training • Must cross-train to other positions as requested The value you bring: • Must be at least 18 years old or older • Must have high school diploma or equivalent • Able to work with people to troubleshoot problems • Able to accomplish daily work requirements to meet customer demands • Must be able to speak and read English • Must be able to do basic math • Must be able to lift 50 pounds • Burton Mill Solutions is pleased to offer the following benefits to our full-time employees: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance available to employees and their dependents on the 1st of the month following date of hire • Optional flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) • Company-paid basic life and short-term disability insurance with employee-paid options for additional life insurance and long-term disability • 401k with employer matching available • Up to 96 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued per year with no waiting period to use accrued time • 8 paid scheduled holidays and 1 paid floating holiday per calendar year • Up to $300 per year in Wellness Activity Reimbursement • Up to $5,250 per year tuition reimbursement for continuing education • Annual reimbursement for safety boots and safety glasses based on the nature of the job This job posting is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of duties, responsibilities, and activities. Automotive Machinist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various machining tools and equipment. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and maintaining precision parts and components to meet our production needs. Machine Operations Specialist

Job Overview A Machine Operator I is responsible for the operation of manufacturing equipment with simple functions.
