Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and manufacturing processes, with expertise in CNC programming and precision measurement. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively to produce high-quality components while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Duties • Must be able to read blueprints and use calipers • Must be proficient in reading a tape measure • Must be able to convert metric to standard • Basic machine programming using “G” and “M” codes • Basic machine practices (Deburring parts, drilling and tapping holes, cutting key-ways, indicating vices, and off-setting tools). Experience • Proven experience as a machinist with a strong mechanical knowledge base. • Proficiency in CNC operations including programming for Fanuc systems. • Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus. • Experience in welding is beneficial but not required. • Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting with an understanding of lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
