CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift. The hours for this role are 3:00pm - 11:00pm The hourly rate for this position is $30.34 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The CNC Machinist is responsible for performing set-up and operating CNC machine tools, checking processed work against job specifications for a variety of life support, air-to-air refueling, and personal survival equipment systems. In this function you will: Inspect your own parts and obtain first article approval when required Perform all common types of machining including turning, drilling, boring, facing, forming, reaming, tapping, threading, knurling, slotting, burnishing, chamfering, and deburring Obtain information on job requirements from a variety of readouts and presentations including blueprints, models, analysis sheets, sketches, written and oral instructions, to produce quality products Set up and operate associated manual machines (drill press, milling machine, saw, etc.) as required Set up and operate 5 axis mills and 5 axis mill turn machines Read and understand Mazatrol and EIA CNC programming Perform routine machine maintenance All other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution is required Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA to be considered.
