Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Mill Machine Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual and CNC milling machines to fabricate precision aerospace components that meet stringent quality and safety standards. This role is critical to the production of high-performance parts used in aircraft and spacecraft systems. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC and manual milling machines for aerospace-grade parts. • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine milling requirements. • Load finished and raw materials into machines and ensure proper alignment and tooling setup. • Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain tight tolerances. • Deburr, clean, and prepare machined parts for inspection or assembly. • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or dimensional inconsistencies. • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including job travelers and inspection records. • Follow all safety guidelines, aerospace industry standards, and quality control procedures (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001). • Perform routine maintenance on machines and report any issues to maintenance or supervision. Required Qualifications • High school or equivalent • Experience in Quality Control function in a commercial or Aerospace environment (recommended) • Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment. • Previous work in a company certified to AS9100 or ISO standards. • Familiarity with Daewoo, Hitachi Seiki, Hurco, Mazak, or Fanuc-controlled CNC mills. • Technical school or CNC certification preferred. • 2+ years of experience operating milling machines in an aerospace or precision machining environment. • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). • Proficiency in reading blueprints and operating precision measuring tools. • Familiarity with aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium, and Inconel. • Basic knowledge of CNC programming (e.g., G-code) is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
