Haas CNC Mill/Lathe Machine Operator/Programmer

LC Engineering is looking for a new addition to our machining department. As a Haas CNC mill/lathe operator, your duties include programming, monitoring, and operating a CNC machine to create new metal or plastic parts. Looking for individuals with experience using Haas NGC machines. Haas legacy and NGC controls on 3/4 axis mills and 2 axis lathe. This job is a Mon-Thurs position 6AM -4:30pm shifts. Salary DOE Responsibilities • Operate and program Haas CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in machining. • Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions. • Conduct quality control checks to maintain high manufacturing standards. • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot issues. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Summary As a Haas CNC Machine Operator/Programmer, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in blueprint reading and precision measuring instruments to produce high-quality components. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will apply your core skills in machining and mechanical knowledge while leveraging premium skills in CNC programming and CAD to optimize production efficiency. Your strong analysis, computer, and organizational skills will ensure adherence to quality control standards and effective materials handling. Machine Operator

Job Summary At Extar LLC, you will be trained in the production of the parts that go into our products. Employees should be able to work independently once trained. We are looking for fast learners who will be able to identify and solve problems while putting great care into maintaining the quality of their work and the product. Those who are interested in continuous improvement will be valued. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Responsibilities and Duties • Operation of CNC mills and lathes • Ability to multitask, keeping multiple machines running efficiently in a job cell. • Inspection of parts using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc. • Adjust offsets in the machine to maintain tolerances. • Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision. Qualifications and Skills • Must be 18 or older. • Mathematically competent. • Able to stand for the entire shift. • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds. • Once trained, requires minimal supervision. • Experience is not required. • Strict time management with self and other employees to support a productive work environment. • Excellent on-time attendance. • Ability to work on a busy manufacturing floor.
