Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to fabricate metallic parts. • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate components. • Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance. • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. • Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce material waste. Qualifications Required Skills • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proficiency in G-Code programming and editing. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Preferred Skills • Prior experience in a custom job shop environment. • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam). • Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
