ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Identify the number of holes machined on items according to the part drawing • Interpret the routing and machine each part according to the part drawing • Identify the gauging inspection needed for each feature that is machined • Call up proper program for each part on CNC controller REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: • Prior CNC machining experience • Understand machining practices and the proper use of measuring devices including tooling and fixturing, machine set-up knowledge, and ability to use gages to check work • Must be competent in use of small hand tools and standard measuring instruments including by not limited to micrometers, dial indicators, pin/plug gauges, etc. • Required to learn and use computer-based Quality Control and production systems • Must be able to read and understand process related documentation. • Work in a safe manner observing safety practices • Must be team oriented LIFTING / STANDING / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires continuous walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting/carrying of up to 35 lbs. based on project need. JOB TYPE: Full-time SCHEDULE: 10 hour shift, Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm. Overtime as needed.
