CNC Machinist

CNC Machinists for IMMEDIATE HIRE JOB Summary Industrial Maintenance Company is looking for EXPERIENCED MACHINISTS. Needing both CNC and Manual/Conventional Machinist experienced with CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Bridgeport's, Lathes, Grinders, Horizontal Boring Mills, and Wire EDM Machines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in our manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. IMC offers TOP PAY $27- $45 / HOUR. Rate will be based on experience. Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. • Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to determine machining requirements. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe MACHINIST or similar role in a manufacturing environment. • Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC programming. • Familiarity with quality control standards and precision measuring instruments. • Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files accurately. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Skills - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges - Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques - Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming machines - Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications - Knowledge of GIBBS CAM and/or Haas programming is a plus Qualified candidates should have their own tools or participate in Company Tool Program.
