Machining Team Member - CNC Operator

Position Summary: This position is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines and measuring equipment while meeting production expectations and producing quality parts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Confirms conformance of finished work to specifications, using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gages. • Operate, change over, and set up computer numerical controlled machines • Identify and repair deficiencies or material defects • Clean machine fixtures and perform preventative maintenance • Make tool changes and minor machines adjustments • Load raw material and check quality of finished parts • Perform set ups and operate multiple machines • Basic understanding and ability to read blueprint drawings • Assure 100% compliance with safety regulations within the department • All other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience: • High School Diploma or GED required • 1-2 years of experience operating a computer numerical controlled machine Additional Skills: • Ability to use or willingness to be trained using forklifts, cranes, electric pallet jacks, etc. • Ability to work in team based environment • Very high level of attention to detail • Ability to use computer and knowledge of software, MS Office, etc. • Good knowledge of metric system and basic math skills Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift 30 lbs. continually, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment • Ability to frequently bend, left, stoop, climb, etc. • Ability to walk and/or stand constantly throughout shift

CNC Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd shifts

Position Summary: This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC machines and measuring equipment while producing quality parts and meeting production expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assure 100% compliance with safety regulations within the department • Basic understanding and ability to read blueprint drawings • Load raw material and check quality of castings • Operate, changeover, and set up computer numerical controlled machines • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer numerical controlled machines • Understand the relationship between the parts and machine programs, and diagnose the problems • Make tool changes and minor machines adjustments • Apply and implement preventative maintenance activities of clean, inspect, lubricate, and refasten to maintain equipment • Measure parts to confirm conformance of finished work to specifications, using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gages on finished parts weighing up to 75 lbs • Identify and correct measurement deficiencies • Identify material defects in raw castings and finished parts • Segregate suspect material • Ability to operate multiple machines • Escalate to leadership when questions arise • All other duties as assigned Education and/or Experience: • High School Diploma or GED required • 3-5 years of experience repairing and operating a computer numerical controlled machine, preferably in metal machining Additional Skills: • Ability to use and/or willingness to be trained using forklifts, cranes, electric pallet jacks, etc. • Ability to work in team-based environment • Very high level of attention to detail • Ability to use computer and knowledge of software, MS Office, etc. • Good knowledge of metric system and basic math skills • Ability to transfer knowledge and train other team members Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift 30 lbs. continually, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally • Ability to frequently bend, lift, stoop, climb, etc. • Ability to walk and/or stand constantly throughout shift • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.10 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Evening shift • Night shift • Overtime People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute: • Franklin, KY (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Franklin, KY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
