Machine Operator, Associate

A US-owned company with a global footprint of almost two million square feet of state-of-the-art facilities, Qarbon Aerospace competitively solves the market’s toughest challenges on time, with Quality Assured Duties: • Main adherence/conformance to specifications and follow established procedures. • Work from engineering drawings, MOPS, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications, electronic data and verbal instructions. • Load tools/MFs and all parts in the appropriate manner to ensure all requirements related to the trimming of each part is obtained. • Use precision measuring instruments, i.e., calipers, vacuum gauges, when performing assigned tasks. • Maintain necessary paperwork / records. • Know and use MES system as needed. • Notify supervision of all malfunctions, defects, or damages of equipment, material and product. • Assist higher classified operators with other related duties as assigned. • Keep work areas clean and orderly. • Monitor and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives. Job Knowledge and Educational Requirements: • Job knowledge requires vocational or similar training, including basic shop math to aid in the interpretation and the utilization of data from engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications and procedures. • Knowledge of shop routines and practices is preferred. • Basic knowledge of personal computers, including operating systems and file management is required. Experience: • Limited related experience General Physical Requirements: • Lifting, climbing, grasping holding, standing, bending and stooping Must be willing to work any shift.
