As a CNC Machinist, you’llbe responsible foroperating and setting up CNC equipment for precision manufacturing, along with a strong knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting. This role is crucial to ensuring high-quality production output, minimal downtime, and adherence to strict aerospace/manufacturing standards. Responsibilities: • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers (Okuma, Haas, Doosan, etc.). • Load and secure materials, verify part programs, and inspect first-piece setups. • Perform tool offsets, work offsets, and minor program edits as needed to ensure part conformity. • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, bore gages). • Maintain strict adherence to engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality standards • Document inspection results and communicate deviations promptly. • Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, coolant checks, and filter changes. • Troubleshoot common machine alarms, tool breakages, and spindle/load issues. • Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. • Suggest process or tooling improvements to increase efficiency and part quality.
