Experienced CNC Machinist who will program and set up 3, 4, 5 Axis Machine Centers using Mastercam X programming system to manufacture aircraft structural parts. There are opportunities available for first and second shifts. First shift = Mon-Thurs 7am-4:30pm, Fri 7am-3:30pm Second shift = Mon-Thurs 4:15 pm-3:45 am, both shifts are a 44 hour week, paid at 40 hours regular and 4 hours overtime each week. Responsibilities • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, material, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters. • Interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards. • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different request, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
