Job Responsibilities • Fabricate precision tooling and prototype parts • Thorough knowledge and ability to set-up and operate lathes, mills and surface grinders • Maintain and repair hot runner systems • CNC set-up, program and operate • Maintain, repair and retrofit injection mold components • Weld, fabricate, rework or maintain tools, tooling, assemblies, manufacturing parts, production items and plant infrastructure • Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet production specifications • Work with engineers, and process technicians in regard to mold repairs, and repair in the machine • Follows all safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations and standards Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED required • 3-5 years experience in a machinist environment preferred • Journeyman tool and die/machinist card is a plus • Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuous education • Excellent communication skills internally and externally • Needs to be a strong team player, with exceptional organization and problem solving skills • Knowledge of TIG welding • Gibbs Cam and SolidWorks knowledge a plus • Background in injection molding with the ability to maintain, repair and trouble shoot injection molds is a plus
