Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC lathes (primarily Mazak). • Develop programs independently using Mazatrol and/or E.I.A. G-code. • Execute both repeat production jobs and short-run/custom work. • Perform in-process inspection and quality verification. • Maintain tooling, adjust offsets, and ensure conformance to specifications. • Keep work area clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of CNC lathe experience in a production or job-shop environment. • Ability to operate independently with minimal instruction. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proficiency in blueprint reading and standard shop documentation. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with short-run contract work. • Strong programming skills in Mazatrol and/or E.I.A./G-code. • Comfort working with a variety of materials, including steel and plastics. • Familiarity with Mastercam is a plus.
