CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistLocation: Gainesville, FL, 32609Job Description: We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and programming CNC machines, as well as knowledge of various materials and tooling. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality parts and components to meet customer specifications. Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC machines • Program machines using G-code and other programming languages • Inspect parts and components to ensure they meet customer specifications • Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired results • Maintain machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance • Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and procedures Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CNC machining • Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines • Knowledge of various materials and tooling • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints • Strong attention to detail and quality • Excellent problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. CNC Machine Operator

Description Manufacture implants and instruments at an introductory level. Key Responsibilities • Operate CNC machines with minimal assistance. • Work from written instructions; (Work Instructions) • Be able to adjust offsets to maintain dimensional integrity. • Ability to inspect own work with minimal assistance. • Meet production standards and quality expectations. • Ability to document results accurately. • Understand and follow GMP procedures as applicable to job duties. • Understand and follow all departmental SOP’s. Document and report any process deviations to team leader. • Understand and comply with all department safety policies and procedures. • Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards. • Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary. • Any other duties as assigned by Team Leader Skills, Knowledge and Experience Education: • High School Diploma or GED required. CNC Machinist 2 or 3

About the position Responsibilities • Setup and operate CNC and manual equipment. • Meet production standards and quality expectations. • Train Level 1 personnel on CNC equipment. • Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs with manufacturing engineering assistance. • Build tooling when necessary. • Ensure proper inspection setups to meet quality standards (self-inspection required). • Train Level 1 personnel in proper use of inspection equipment. • Work from written instructions (Work Instructions). • Document results accurately. • Understand and follow all GMP procedures. • Comply with all departmental SOPs and report any process deviations to the team leader. • Understand and apply the Quality System and appropriate Federal and International standards. • Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required. • 3 years of experience as a machinist (required for machinist 2). • Minimum 5 years experience as a machinist (required for machinist 3). • Ability to understand CNC programs. • Ability to edit CNC programs with Manufacturing Assistance. • Working knowledge of CNC and manual equipment. • Knowledge of inspection procedures & use of inspection equipment. • Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading. • Ability to write and edit CNC programs (for machinist 3). • Ability to design processes and tooling for the manufacture of components from a print (for machinist 3). • Thorough understanding of GD&T and blueprints (for machinist 3).
