Machine Operator

Aerotek is HIRING NOW for Machine Operators in the Kissimmee, FL Area! We are looking for a reliable individual to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a contract-to-hire position with full benefits, weekly pay, and 401k while on contract (pay increase when converting to permanent employee). Interviewing and hiring immediately. Overview: • Job title: Machine Operator • Shift: 2 different shifts - 6AM-6PM and 6PM-6AM / 223 shift • Pay: $15-$16.50/hr (based on experience) • Location: Kissimmee, FL • Manufacturing food environment Description: • Operate machinery efficiently and safely. • Set up, start up, disassemble, reassemble, and operate machines during production. • Ensure product specifications like weight, moisture, length, and texture are met. • Clean the machine and work area safely throughout the shift. • Prepare dough according to product specifications. • Comply with OSHA and workplace safety regulations. • Perform related duties as required by the supervisor. Qualifications: • Machine operation and troubleshooting. • Ability to use a tape measure. • Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose machinery. • Experience in the food production industry is preferred. Work Environment The work environment is a humid food production industry, primarily involving ovens for tortillas, which can get hot. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Manual Machinist

Overview We are is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual lathes, mills, and grinders to produce and repair precision aircraft components. This position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with precision measurement tools, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as we depend on a dedicated team to meet critical deadlines in rotor blade maintenance and repair. Key Responsibilities: • Operate manual lathes, mills, surface grinders, and other machining equipment to manufacture and repair aviation components. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining. • Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, etc.) to verify part dimensions and tolerances. • Perform/work with quality on inspections for machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications. • Maintain proper tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds for different materials. • Work closely with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues. • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining high-quality standards. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications & Skills: • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a manual machinist, preferably in an aviation or precision manufacturing environment. • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in operating manual mills, lathes, and grinders. CNC experience is a plus but not required. • Measurement Expertise: Ability to accurately use precision measuring tools and interpret engineering drawings. • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision, quality, and adherence to tight tolerances. • Reliability & Punctuality: Must be dependable and consistently on time to support production schedules. • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
