Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret sample parts, engineering drawings, and blueprints to determine proper machining sequences and specifications. • Set machine controls or input commands into computerized machine tools. • Ensure 100% part quality and verify tolerances using digital and manual micrometers and calipers. • Monitor machine feed and speed during the machining process to ensure proper operation. • Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair machines when issues arise. • Perform scheduled and as-needed maintenance on machines. • Communicate effectively in English with both technical and non-technical personnel. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. • Collaborate closely with the Production and Supply Chain Manager and follow detailed instructions and quality standards. Required Qualifications: • At least 5 years of CNC Vertical and Horizontal Lathe experience in a production job shop environment. • Strong math skills and familiarity with measurement tools like calipers and micrometers. • Experience working with parts ranging from 16” to 78” in diameter. • Comfortable interpreting engineering blueprints and specs to guide production. • Able to detect issues and make adjustments quickly to prevent downtime. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be able to pass a drug screening, background check, and physical.
