Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes and milling machines to produce parts according to specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements. • Utilize CNC programming skills to create and modify programs for efficient machining operations. • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong mechanical knowledge base. • Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., Fanuc).. • Strong basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes. • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively. • Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not required. • Previous experience in assembly processes is beneficial. • Understanding of tooling requirements for various machining operations is essential.
