Experienced CNC Machinist

Required Skills: • 2-year technical degree and minimum 5 years' experience in programming and operating CNC Lathes and Mills • Read and understand blueprints • Able to lift 70lbs • Problem solving • Positive learning attitude and a strong work ethic • Strong attention to detail • Ability to recognize and support improvement opportunities Preferred Skills: • Experience in CAM Software • Experience in CNC Machine set-up and operation • Working knowledge of Decimal System, Metric/Standard Conversion • Understanding of GD&T • Knowledge & experience in part inspection methods Candidates must be able to pass a nationwide background check through eRail Safe as required by our railroad customers. Candidates must also be able to pass drug/alcohol tests, and a pre-employment physical. Shifts vary from Mondays through Thursdays at 6-4:30 or Tuesdays through Fridays 6-4:30.
