The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC/manual machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses. The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints and diagrams, make precise measurements, and follow safety protocols. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and can work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Set up and operate CNC/manual machines such as lathes, mills, and drill presses. • Perform basic maintenance on machines such as lubrication and cleaning. • Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Work with a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, brass, and plastics. • Make adjustments to machines as needed for accuracy. Are you passionate about this work? • Operating & Programming Haas CNC mill and lathe machines safely and productively • Ability to do your own set ups and produce quality parts from drawings with minimal supervision. • Plans machining by studying detailed/complex blueprints and work orders; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD & T) • Download/edits programs by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches.
