CNC Machine Operators

As a member of the machining team, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of a variety of machines in the shop including CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Laser Welders, Weld Around, Hobbers/Shapers, Laser Cutters, Pull Broach, and Pot Broach machines. NO PREVIOUS CNC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED but is PREFERRED Responsibilities include: • Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances • Load/unload parts to be machined, positioning, securing, and aligning with cutting tools or tool holders on machines • Run machines through cycles, stopping to adjust tool positions and machine controls to ensure specified timing, clearances, and tolerances. • Study blueprints, layouts, or charts, and job order information on specification and tooling instructions to determine operational sequences • Inspect parts to ensure product specifications are met utilizing a variety of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and a variety of gauges/tools Qualifications: • Seeking candidates with a minimum of 6 months of previous machine operation experience, preferably in CNC lathes/mills, Laser welders/cutters, hobbers/shapers, etc. • Knowledge of machines, including set up and changeover of tooling • Position requires excellent math skills and the ability to read, interpret, and follow a variety of blueprints, schematics, and work instructions • Ability to take precise measurements utilizing a variety of inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, and a variety of gauges/tools • Ability to work 10 hours in a physically active and challenging environment that includes but is not limited to; walking, standing, lifting, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling • High School Diploma or equivalent required Key Information: • All candidates will train on our 1st shift for approximately 90 days and may transfer to the 2nd -shift upon completion of training • Styberg Engineering offers full medical, dental, vision with FREE healthcare options, 401K with employer match, Wellness Programs and Reimbursements, cross-training, educational development, Tuition reimbursement, and Referral Programs. • Vacation, Personal Days, and 14 Paid Holidays

Cnc Machinist

Job Title: Machinist Job Description This position requires setting up and operating CNC mills or lathes for short runs, typically no more than 25 parts. You will be responsible for reading blueprints to determine part specifications and machine operation requirements, changing tools, and making minor adjustments to programs as needed. Additionally, you will inspect products using micrometers, calipers, and other gauges, and perform preventative maintenance on machinery. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift from 7 am to 3 pm for 6-9 months before moving to the 2nd shift, with a shift premium while training. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Racine, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52956.00 - $76627.00/yr.
